The Giants

Dear diary,

Today was the weirdest day of my life. So I was just sleeping where my puppeteer had put me for the night and Xolo (my dog) had just been to the beach but now he had already woke up (slobbering all over me joyfully). All of a sudden , I was walking down a noisy road getting pulled by some strange people who where NOT my usual puppeteers.

Then I noticed what was happening , Granny was talking about it for, like, weeks! It was the 'GIANTS SPECTACULAR!' I forgot all about it but my sister never

she was probably watching from the L1 billboards. I do not know who these “special” puppeteers think they are they where jumping all over me attaching pieces of metal to my fragile head! I was about to run the other way but then I remembered my sisters (the little girl giant) advice , Smile and wave.

When I got up to this place called Princes avenue I heard ,and I'm not lying, over the top screaming and screeching I mean It's not like people have never seen a giant boy before

jeez! I mean my uncle told me that there would be a big crowd but not this, I even saw this school called Kingsway actually I think it was called Kingsley community school and there was this man called Mister molenchu or maybe Molenuxe was totally invading my personal space taking pictures with this tiny tablet.

But at the end of the day, It was pretty cool being at the centre of attention for no reason. One other thing is that I'm pretty sure I got a splinter lost in my gorgeous completion

( I will have to have a chat with my REAL puppeteers!)

The giants

As I went for a morning stroll – against my will- I could see a crowd of people glancing at my steel body and before I could notice I read the words on a building – noticing I was in Liverpool. The real question was; why was I in Liverpool?...

As I made it past a variety of small figures butterfly's were roaming in my metal, indestructible tummy although it was soon affected by shyness. Curious, I wondered what these small figures were doing and why I was very unique towards them.

After a long period of time, I was getting bored so I decided to take a different route to spice things up.

Trying my hardest, I failed to withstand several ropes holding my body and then I realized what was happening; I was a giant compared to the other humans and everybody was shouting “Giants in Princess Avenue.”Princess Avenue? I was puzzled...

Bored I took a sudden glimpse behind my back -there was a dog following me- I could also see police cars rioting the sides so the small dots could not damage me or hold me back as well as harm my puppeteers. Why was I controlled?...

Continuing my unpleasant journey, I could see a huge group of children wearing purple shirts. Before I could say a word, I remembered my tall cousin Muhammed looking at me. Now who's the biggest ? Finally I remembered my other Giants and hope to see them later in the future but where are they?...

Aim and game 
The aim of the game is to get as many happiefaces as you can in your group.And the game is to gain as many happiefaces and build a new town or village .You will get  9 months which is basecly 9 turns in your team or group .Your team will debate on what you shall build if someone is talking and they give you a good reason why than you shall pick what they have said .Or you can pick something else and then the points will add up on what shall you pick.

WHY OUR SCHOOL PLAYS FOOTBALL ?
Our school plays football because we are competitive and like to win.We are really good at football (personally the best in the world);we play other schools and are triumphant at the end at the match. We have passed these fantastic victories down to generations.The years in our school that plays for us are our fantastic year 5 and our astonishing  year 6.

RULES
When we play football there are some rules one of them are if you don't behave in class you can't play ; if you don't listen you won't play for the school team . if you do play for our team   you will be proud of yourself.

My OPINION
In my opinion school team is strict but fair (this is only because i always get picked.THERE are a few different rules there is no offsides.

Minecraft is a legendary,fighting,survival,building and crafting game all put into one game.This game is suitable for all ages and has very pixely graphics which hides its aggressive side.This game was created by Mojang  Notch in 17 may 2009.

Minecraft Edu.
Minecraft Edu is another version of Minecraft but it was created for schools and children.But this version does hide aggressive features if required.This game has all the features of Minecraft but it is all free.

Stranded is a game of team work and helping each other. this game is about teamwork,skills and communication.It is a game of having excitement and lots and lots of fun. you have 3 turns to go to the school, woods, quarry, hot tub an exploring.The aim of the game is to get more and more happiness from the hot tub and get more scores.                                                                                                   
The aim/rule of the game is that you have three turns to go to the school, quarry, and wood, explore and hot tub. You have to get as much happiness as you can. The hot tub gives you more happiness if you go to it. Sometimes if you go to the school, it might give you a bonus turn. If you don’t hurry up wasting your turns, the time will run out and you will have to try your best to hurry up. The team leader will say what resources he chooses and why he chooses that resource. Stranded is a game on teacher gaming it is a strategy game using different skills. We where playing stranded because we had to improve our skills of Math's , Teamwork , Communication and Persuasive language read below for more information.

Rules/Aims

The aim of the game is to try to earn as much happiness as possible in 16 months.By gaining happiness you can get lots of materials like wood , stone and food.You can get these materials
by exploring and finding farms , quarry and woods . rules of the game is that you need 100 food every month to gain  happiness or you will lose some ; you will also need enough wood and stone to build a building of you choose. happy days

The first time we played, we wasted a lot of our classes’ turns and lost a lot of happiness. however we ended up gaining the most happiness and my class got the highest score out of the whole school.we must off all learnt from our lesson and improved. At the end my class had a fantastic time playing  this game

Stranded is a strategy game where you have to survive and collect more happiness. You need math's skills and sometimes you need teamwork if you have a lot of players in your game. You need a lot of communication because you need to make good choices. If you want to find out more read on!

Rules/aim

The aim of the game is to try and earn a lot of happiness. By collecting a lot of happiness you need to make shelters by collecting some wood so you can get a lot of happiness because you need to live in shelters and make everybody happy. You need quarries to upgrade your shelters and more!

You can explore and stumble upon a hot spring. The more you get people to get inside the more happiness you get!

Class performance

When 5s (some of the school pupils in Kinsley community school) first started to play ‘stranded’ they weren’t very good at it. When Mr Bass (ICT teacher) announced that you can have teamwork and class performance you would be better. Class performance is when we stop and listen to the person so we can decide if we want that item (shelters, workshops etc).

Football is an exercise game where you are on a team and you vs another team,its actually country vs country for example you pick what country you want to play for and then you vs the other team and you have to try and win for your team.

As you see the pitch of the football pitch is so big that you can fit 30,000 people in it.If you look at the word ''FOOTBALL''you can see that it says foot and then it says ball which means you can only kick the ball with your foot.If you handball the ball it will be a free kick because the name of the game doesn't have hand in it it only has football.

My favourite football player is CR7 which stands for Cristiano Ronaldo 7 because when he does his skills he megs the other team and when he megs them he passes to his team in the box then his team scores a goal.Here is a photo of Cristiano Ronaldo who is the number 7 and his  boots.

When I first played it  i were so bad we didn't now what to do so Mr bass  I gave us some advise.

The rules are you need to collect wood and stone to build buildings and get happiness you also need food to not loose happiness

Stranded was made in Finland then they got rid of it but then teacher gaming asked if they could have stranded.stranded is a computer game.

Once we got the highest score in the whole school to get a high score you haft too communicate,and each round we will have a different person.

Hello kingsley school have started playing a game named stranded it was published on the 23rd of January 2015 also it was made in Finland.When it was about to get thrown away teacher gaming save the day by taking stranded away.

First we choose a term leader and gives us objective such as;get food[fish and bread],mine trees to get wood and then eventually find a hot spring,get materials to make a cinema,school,campfire and a hotspring. At first we wasn't very good because

When your playing stranded you start of with 3 moves if you then decide to carry on going to school you will get more lives.

Introduction                                                                                      Stranded , is a game -team game- where you have to earn points by [playing , building  , feeding others  and making homes].We where playing to increas our skills , especially team work.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Rules/aim                                                                          The aim is to get as much happiness as you can ,the highest is utopia .We also needed 90 food per turn , we had 16 months and items to build in each turn .We also needed to use math to see how many items we have and to plan.                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Class performance                             The more we played the game , we became better , added turn leaders and more ... We also tried to make  the game  harder and accomplished what we wanted.

Conclusion                                                                                             We needed more time for our turns to get over what we should built.Also there are hot spring which give you happiness but can only have 3 people at a time in .

Stranded is a game of tactic and teamwork all put together in one game.This game tests the skill and teamwork of whoever is playing or who they are playing with.Our school was playing this extraordinary to improve our teamwork with one another and tests our skills as tacticians.Our school was also playing this amazing and wonderful game for fun and enjoyment.Stranded was created by the finished government and was released a couple years ago.Later the finished government  wanted to get rid of Stranded but at the time teacher gaming stepped in and said they would like to keep Stranded for their own company so people throughout the world could play it.

Rules/aim 

Stranded has a couple of simple but crucial rules.The aim of the game is to gain as much happiness as possible before the 16 months end and the rescue ship arrives at the island.When you  start the game you will be given 3 turns for 1 month but if you spend your turns on the school you will be able to gain more turns for each month.If you have 100 food you will gain happiness at the end of the month but the very least amount of food is 90 so if you have less than 90 food you will lose happiness.So the first thing you should do when you start the game is gain food so you don't lose happiness on the first turn.

Class performance

Mr Bass [the amazing teacher he is] decide it would be a good idea for each class to compete against each other. But in the end 5S won and they reached paradise. But when team leaders were added the class performance went skyrocketing.I really hated turn leaders because when they said something you had to do it but what if they were spending it on school and not on food when you only have 1 food. 

I really like this game in whole and i hope you decide to play this legendary game.

Do you want to know what is Stranded? Stranded is a strategy game on Teacher Gaming. My school played Stranded because it helped us communicating and helped us with our teamwork. On this game, the turn leader will need to be persuasive and tell them why to pick things and improving things about what we get.

Rules and aim

The aim for this is to increase and collect happiness. But in Stranded there are rules. One of the rules in Stranded is that you will need a turn leader to help you choose good things. In Stranded, you have an amount of time that you can play like you can only live for 16 months.

Competing

In my school, we were competing against an other class in year five. We were trying to see who collected the most happiness in the game. We even competing against half of our class.

Conclusion

In Stranded, you will be amazed of the skills you can learn. Whenever you are playing this game, you can discover new buildings like theateres to help you get extra happiness; quarries to help you upgrade buildings; and schools to help you have more goes. When I first played Stranded, I created shelters because I need to stay somewhere to collect happiness.

Stranded is a strategic game were you use teamwork.We were playing this fun game to use our skills: teamwork,communication,persuasive language and math to survive.The theme of Stranded is that you get stranded on an unexplored island and you need to use teamwork to survive until the rescuers save you in 15 months.At the end of the 15 months it shows how good you did like utopia,paradise,success etc.

RULES AND AIM

The aim of Stranded is to get the most happiness in the 15 months you are stranded. To get happiness you need to gain food, stone, to build enough houses for everyone and explore for hot springs and swim in them to gain happiness.You need to have at least 90 food to not lose happiness at the end of each month/turn.

CLASS PERFORMANCE / COMPETING

 Every week we got better as we work more and more together ; we discussed everything until we came to a fair agreement. The turn leader told us what to do , every turn and persuaded us to agree.

CONCLUSION

You will be amazed at how fun Stranded is when you start playing it . You won’t want to stop playing it when you start! My school started playing the game as it developed our skills ; teamwork , which we used by working together ; persuasive language, which we used by choosing a turn leader every turn who persuaded us to do things like build a shelter or school etc.; maths , which we used by reading the numbers of the food, stone, wood and happiness ; and finally, we used communication by talking to each other about what to do. Skills are needed to play the game as well as your brain because you need at least 90 food to get no loss of happiness:fishing,and building farms.When you got enough food you must get building resources so you can get new structures and gain more happiness and you can get your food up to 100 to get even more.As soon as you the end of your turn has come, you must vote on a building you want so you can get more happiness.

Exploring

When you start the game, you will only have a little amount of area that you own so you can explore for more,and even find the hot pool which gives happiness.The more you explore makes the more area for farms and buildings and you can get more quarry's,woods and sea areas.Every time you explore some of the percentage will go down although you need to get it yo 100 percent.

Building

In stranded you can build structures to either get more happiness, earn more turns and build shelter.
As soon as you build structures, you will need resources to get more , this will be mentioned on the 2 paragraph.

In our class we have added turn leaders to make the process of the game easier and so we can discuss why wen build a certain thing.Turn leaders are randomly picked each turn so they can guide us what to do.We play against the other class to see which one can get more happiness and we play against our selves to get a better score each time.We used math to calculate how much of a certain resource we need.

Turns

Turns are used when a action that has been caused. Although you star with three ,earn more in the school, normally made first from your vote.Each turn is used and caused for a action;when the action has been made you will gain the certain resources you needed.

I enjoyed the game because it helped me use teamwork and i hope you enjoy it too.

It was made on the 23rd of January 2015 in Finland .It was made by teacher gaming .

When i first played Stranded it was bad but after that we happily improved and we gradually got better. we had to get loads of fish and shelter and way more, its a fun game to play.we made it fair by having turn leaders however that made us get better.

The rules are getting food to survive you also you need  to get enough wood,metal and things like that to get shelter and to build houses to keep safe.You get choices if you want to choose  to build shelter or the cinemas or even the campfire.

Once we played on it on the 3rd week we got used  to it however some of us lost confidence so that made us lose points . We needed help.

To conclude, we had ups and downs because we started bad hen good than bad so we just needed enough teamwork . We should have done wise choices.

Stranded is a game of strategy and teamwork it was made in Finland published 23rd January 2015.We done it because to work on our: team building , listening skills and our speaking.We also done it because of our math and persuasive language!We only just started it last term and we done it in our school computer room !

All games have a rule OBVIOUSLY so this paragraph will tell you all about them!So first you have to have food to survive, this isn't really a rule but it's still something you'll need.Second of all you'll start with 3 actions and when you gather enough supplies you can get a school which gives you more actions but it also uses your lives.The last but best rule is you need happiness and these specific thing will give you happiness :food,a campfire which has a limit of 5,shelter which also has a limit of 5 and a hot spring which a;so has a limit of 5!So basically those are all rules if you think there's more go and check stranded for yourself.

Our class performance is very important that's why we even played and started this game to show off our class performance!When we first started the game we wasn't very good but we gradually got better and better.Did I mention we got a high score but sadly we lost it ): !We had a lesson were we got -6 that was not good the teacher who taught us was.... sorry i can't tell you it's top secret!

My review for our class would be .........9 out of 10 only because we worked as a team and that was the aim of the game so I will stick with my rating for now!

Last term  in computing we played stranded (a strategy game )we played it because it includes maths
persuasive language listening and speaking to each other .Also made by Sarella .

First of all the first time we played stranded we were not communicating our best.But gradually we began to get even more better than last time we had a high score out of the whole school unfortunately it got broken by the other class  but we still got even more better and better than last time  we kept on improving at stranded ; we always communicate .

Furthermore,  exploring gives you space to build new buildings to build also you only have 3 actions so use it wisely furthermore school gives you more actions so try and use that advantage to your game although you lose food every turn campfire  will give you a big bonus and advantage of happiness finally we have turn leaders to convince  us either to build a building or just save up these people help us get to the top .

In  addition, there are loads  of buildings some of them are :workshop,campfire,school and many more.school is a building that will help you improve at stranded however you need some free space for your buildings.unfortunately you need to have the following:wood, stone (if its helpful for your game )and maybe also food

 To  conclude, my blog i truly believe that stranded is a excellent game ;it includes lots of amazing stuff such as : teamwork ,listening to others , helping other and turn leaders to persuade us what to do.I really really enjoyed playing stranded so so much it is has so much communication and is so amazing to play.

Stranded was made in Finland and it was made b saarella.It is mostly a strategy game it was made 25th of January 2015.When you play each month is worth 1 round.If you play with friends you must work as a team.

When we started playing we never done bad and we were alright until we played it again we done really really bad.After that we done really really amazing,we were the best class in the whole school,until another class beat us which is 5s.

The rules in stranded are easy. You have 3 goes and a big place you need to press one place and explore different places.After each round if you collect stone and wood you can buy buildings to help you.If you buy a school and press on it you can earn an extra go.

I think together as a class I think we done bad an really amazing.I think we done bad because in the second time we got -6.Then I think we done really good because in the last time we got 256.Which was the highest score in the whole school.

Stranded is a game on teacher gaming you can play lots of games.The game that my class is playing is called stranded this game was made on January 25th 2015  from Finland you can do class performance to .Last term we played stranded sooner or later we got better and better we played stranded a lot in computing.

If you want to play stranded you just go on teacher gaming and press stranded the game will appear on your screen you will have to put a code in and then press play then you have stranded on your screen.And just to let you know stranded is a very popular game lots of people are playing stranded because it is the best game of all time.

To play stranded you have to get more lives if you go to school only there is also you get to have 3 limits you get to go to get some food and go to the campfire and most

Stranded is a well known game on teacher gaming that has a very strange but ordinary story to it.This blog will show you all about this wonderful app.

The rules of stranded are very simple yet exciting because it can blow your mind whilst confusing it.
So the rules are :you get 3 actions for each month; you must use these actions very carefully and not carelessly because these actions will depend if you will achieve the game goal.The game goal is very simple (win paradise) and you can go to many things to get more actions like the school.To win stranded you will need :teamwork, strategy, and listening skills

Happiness is also a lot like actions it will depend on if you achieve the game goal and if you score high points. You can gain happiness by : exploring,collecting crops,getting fish,chopping  down wood ,and going to the campfire / hot spring.You can have a variety of different scores of happiness on each time you play Stranded like once a class i know very well scored -6 and then they gradually  improved and got around 100-220 happiness points.

The story of Stranded is not what you think, Stranded was first published in Finland on January 23rd 2015 and then the original ,Swedish, brand gave up stranded and the famous teacher gaming adopted the fantastic game and put it on their website. Right now stranded is one of the top games in the website! The company who owns stranded on the website is called SARELLA.

To make things easier Stranded has a variety of objects and buildings that can :give you more happiness, more actions , and much more.If you want to do things much quicker if your class votes for a workshop then you can use tools to get essential objects like:wood , fish , stone , wheat and if you have a campfire you can upgrade it for happiness.

In my class (5c ) we have team leaders when we play but they are not included in the game. Team leaders improve your chances of achieving the game goal ; team leaders were made when we were not allowed to communicate for our supply  teachers reasons.

Yesterday we were not at school, instead we were at Broadgreen Primary school where we joined the Maths Able Day with Mr Pete Hall.

When we arrived, our group was early so we got to play some fun word games.

For a starter we looked at incorrect maths people have sent him on Facebook (which he did not understand). They were complicated but we got through it anyway at the end.

Later on during the day, Mr Pete Hall showed us correct maths that was still complicated that he has taught in the past. There was a triangle with 6 circles and we had to put numbers from 1 to 6 inside the circles and add each of the sides together and put the total in the middle of the triangle and we kept doing it and tried to get the highest and lowest number.

After play, we did something different, Mr Hall gave out pencils and sheets of paper ( which he flipped over so that none of us cheated). Then he put on a maths program called Big Maths Beat That.
The program is basically a timer which has music in the background. When it said go we flipped over our paper (which had 72 additions and multiplications) each of us got 1 minute and a half to get as many answers as possible done in the time given (you can chose how many minute or seconds you would like your timer to last ).

After that, we had our lunch (yum yum) then we went outside were we made new friends and played on there climbing frame

When we came back in sir taught us how to use the magic square it is a 3 by 3 square grid that had numbers that people around the world think is magical .

After learning about the magic square, we learnt how to make chinese tangrams. There are 7 different shapes that we needed to make other shapes out of e.g. square, swan, right angle and triangle.

Overall the day was amazing we enjoyed being apart of Maths Able Day and meeting Mr Pete Hall.

Stranded (TeacherGaming) - Asad P and Yunis S

Stranded

Right now Kingsley school is trying a service called Teacher Gaming. In year 5 we are trying a game called Stranded. Read these facts below to learn how you could survive in this game.

Stranded is a shelter base game were you have to obtain happiness and other resources, don't get confused with Minecraft.

In Stranded you always start with 16 months. Each turn will progress one month and every one of your turns will only have 3 energy. Energy is what you can use to explore, get wood and do other activities. This makes it hard to obtain happiness.

Based on exploring, you can find different types of resources. If you're lucky enough you can discover different types of buildings like a hot spring and other buildings. Using a quarry you can find a new place where you can get stone.If you get wood you can make different types of buildings. You can even get buildings by having stone and you can get schools to boost your energy. 

The main goal in this game is to collect happiness.You can get happiness by using different strategy. For a starter you can increase your happiness from 100 to a big score by making shelters, campfires, schools and level up buildings. When you start you will have 100 happiness, you might lose some because you need shelter and food.

You also have to use maths to see your resources. Each turn you have to make sure you have at least 100 food to keep people happy and safe. Every turn you can vote for different types of buildings,shelters (which all cost different amounts of wood and stone) and some times you can save up your resources for the next turn. We had to persuade each other of what to build and we had to use teamwork to do it. Each turn you will lose happiness if you don't have enough food or shelter.

The whole class enjoyed this game and we all worked as a team. We are looking forward to beat our high score.
